A discreet single-storey bungalow, which looks bigger from the inside than from outside, is harmonized and friendly. It is perfect for a young family as well as for elderly couples: you can even organize a diamond wedding here. Everything works as it should and if this is not the cosy living at a reasonable price you have been looking for, then it does not exist. It has a flat roof, thus a modern and maintenance-free solution to the problem with rain and bad weather. You can easily build it in the outskirts of Stockholm as well as on the alpine slopes of the Wallis canton or in the cherry orchard in the village of your uncle. It is international and cosmopolitan in every respect.

It is ideal to orientate the facade facing the north, northwest or northeast, or, if necessary – from the east to the west. It fits perfectly also on a smaller lot, with a width of 20,5 m.

Main highlights of the house layout

• Right at the entrance (which can be either from the left or from the right side, depending on the particular needs) you will appreciate a relatively large storage closet and a useful storage place for shoes or wardrobes just opposite to the entrance door.
• The hall is lit from the skylight, so when you go to the toilet in the night, you can enjoy the starry sky above you, which will certainly encourage the moral code within you.
• A long kitchen window between the kitchen unit and upper cabinets allows you to see out of the house and provides you an ideally lit working place while keeping the temperature during the summer on a reasonable level. You can also find a useful pantry here.
• Right next to the kitchen, we have designed a practical technical and utility room. Its everyday use will become your pleasure: it is a functional and useful space, where you can put everything that would disturb you in the living room.
• The house can be equipped with sheltered parking for one or two cars or garage/double-garage (various possibilities depending on where the entranceway is situated). You can discuss all the possibilities with the architect.
